Résumé :
Thinks to its level of care and its economic aspect in recent years, telemonitoring is increasingly used. Telemonitoring aims to monitor the patient’s health in the comfort of its own home. For this, all patient data that can be useful are collected, and represented in the most appropriate mode; after that, a decision support system is used to detect unsafe situations. E-care is a project of telemonitoring for people suffering of heart failure. It is based on a generic and extensible platform to expand the data and integrate other sources of information. E-care platform is based on the use of ontologies for knowledge representation and decision support system to detect dangerous situations. Adding other sources of information such as auscultation, allows having more knowledge on the patient and more efficient decision support system; this can be performed by extracting relevant features from the heart sounds which reveal the mechanical activity of the heart.
